    Regional Director of Sales and Marketing

    The ideal candidate will be located in the San Jose area.

    This role will take your sales career to the next level with Oakmont Management Group. We are seeking a dynamic Regional Director of Sales and Marketing who can lead the sales efforts in their region.

    This position will support our senior living communities in the San Jose market by working closely with the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing to establish and carry out marketing plans at each Community.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • With input from the Executive Director, oversee hiring and termination of sales staff at the Community level, including final interviews, creating and overseeing training processes, and participating in annual reviews and success plans.
    • Oversight of the sales process at each community, ensuring thorough and effective completion of all sales efforts, meeting Oakmont standards.
    • Work closely with the sales team to create specific marketing plans for each community, evaluating sales ratios, and providing ongoing training to the sales team.
    • Establish business development expectations and monitor efficiency levels at each community, planning and participating in annual sales meetings.
    • Create and maintain marketing process and procedures manuals for communities, conducting mystery shops with third-party companies to ensure quality control.
    • Oversight of the Regional Sales Specialist, regular communication with Executive Directors to discuss performance of sales teams, identifying opportunities to grow, mentor, and/or promote sales directors.
    • Meet or exceed occupancy and revenue goals within the region, providing feedback and recommendations to upper-level management to achieve excellent occupancy standards and revenue goals.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
    • 2 years of experience working in the senior industry in a multi-site or regional sales capacity, with experience in direct sales in Memory Care and Assisted Living.
    • Ability to make decisions, solve problems, prioritize tasks and projects, and work independently without supervision.
    • Must be highly motivated, mobile, and able to perform physical requirements of the job, pass a physical and criminal record clearance prior to employment, and willing to travel a minimum of 60% of the time.
