    St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a full-time Neonatologist at St. Peters Hospital located in Albany, New York.

    This is an exciting opportunity to join a hospital employed group in a community non-surgical Level III NICU. With in-house NNPs and Neonatal PAs 24/7, the physicians can enjoy a call from home model during week-long clinical service blocks. With the largest number of births in the region, St. Peters Health Partners is excited to be a regional leader in perinatal care and partner for the families that we service.

    OPPORTUNITY DETAILS

    NICU Services:

    • 20-weeks of clinical service per year.
    • 1-week service blocks.
    • The core NICU provider team consists of 3 Neonatologists, 5 NNPs, and 1 neonatal PA.
    • For resiliency, the per diem core includes an additional neonatologist, 5 NNPs, and 2 neonatal PAs.
    • Neonatologists are responsible for in-house coverage during the day, with call from home at night (30-min response time).
    • NICU team attends high-risk deliveries.
    • 15-bed Level III NICU; ADC: 8-12 (can flex up to 21).
    • Ventilation Support: INO, Oscillator.
    • Fantastic NICU nursing core and leadership.
    • Inpatient Pediatric Cardiology, Developmental Pediatrics, and Ophthalmology available.
    • Collegial network of pediatric specialist support from nearby academic center.
    • Neonatal transports provided by regional partner.
    • EMR: EPIC

    Obstetrical Services:

    • Over 3,000 annual deliveries.
    • Strong obstetrical and MFM services.
    • Dedicated nursing team and leadership.

    Pediatric Services:

    • Newborn nursery is covered 24/7 by separate pediatric provider team.

    St. Peters Newborn Medicine Program is part of the national Trinity Healthcare System that encompasses 29 birthing hospitals with 9 Level 3 NICUs, 12 Level 2 Special Care Nurseries, and 8 Level 1 Nurseries. Each individually staffed, but all willing collaborators.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Board Certification/Board Eligibility
    • NYS licensure
    • DEA Certification
    • Experienced physician preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

    RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

    St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:

    • Compensation is between $300,000 and $325,000 annually.
