    JOB SUMMARY: The warehouse generalist assists in the picking, pulling, loading & off-loading of décor, furnishings, and other specialty items required for excellence in event order advancement and fulfillment, as well as the ability to multitask and work in a large production area. A successful candidate will have the ability to meet set deadlines, communicate with others and change roles when needed.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Pull orders that are assigned to you
    • Wraps & unwraps items for quality Inspection
    • Notify Department Lead, Supervisor or Manager any quality questionable Inventory
    • Clean, wipe and dust off all staged inventory
    • Pull, load, secure and unload Inventory pieces
    • Clean and Sweep department working areas & zones
    • Operates Company approved tools and equipment
    • Attends to Department Daily and Weekly meetings
    • Finish Duties and task in a timely manner
    • Notifies Department Lead or Supervisor any Safety hazard or concern
    • Performs touch ups repairs for Inventory restauration
    • Reports any pulled, loaded or unloaded damaged Inventory
    • Provides assistance to other groups or Department as needed
    • Follows well-defined and established procedures and best practices
    • Operates dollies and carts.
    • Shows up for work when scheduled, on time, ready and able to work
    • Assist on special projects assigned
    • Ability to have quick solutions for day to day functions
    • Able to switch jobs whenever needed to help out in the absence of other team members
    • Inspect product before packing it and placing it in the pick-up area
    • Performs other duties as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1 to 3 years warehouse experience preferred.
    • Forklift / Cherry Picker experience preferred.
    • Communicates well with others
    • Must be able to lift 75 lbs or more
    • GED or High School Diploma
    • Must be organized, detail-oriented and team driven
    • Must be flexible and adaptable to constant change
    • Work multiple shifts
    • Must be a team player
    • Must be able to read and speak English

    • The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to heavy.
    • The temperature will vary from hot to cold depending on the weather.
