Title of Position – Chef de CuisineJob Description: The Chef de Cuisine reports to the Executive Chef and is responsible for the overall daily operations of our production kitchen. The Chef de Cuisine leads and organizes a team of Prep Cooks to prepare, portion and produce a large quantity of food items daily. The Chef de Cuisine has the human resource, financial and administrative responsibilities as they pertain to their direct reports. In addition, the right candidate is also responsible for working directly with the Corporate Executive Chef to ensure standards are being met. A Chef de Cuisine must be capable of fulfilling all areas of the Executive Chef's obligations in their absence. The Chef de Cuisine will order ingredients and products to execute seasonal menus.     Qualifications:
    • The Chef de Cuisine is preferred to have high volume restaurant management experience of at least 2 years and at least 5 years as a chef.
    • The Chef de Cuisine must have the ability to work successfully in fast-paced environments with high volume production.
    • The Chef de Cuisine must have knowledge/experience with French and Mediterranean cuisine.
    • The Chef de Cuisine is preferred to have a bachelor's degree or degree from a culinary school.
    • The Chef de Cuisine must have excellent communication and leadership skills.
