    Description

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    Prepares routine letters to members, subordination agreements as requested, partial lien releases as required and full satisfaction of mortgage releases on liens which are paid in full.

    Provides information regarding mortgage products.

    Handles inquiries from members and employees regarding the servicing of real estate loans, such as questions relating to payments, insurance, taxes, etc.

    Performs escrow analyses annually & ensures that all insurance coverage and endorsements are properly maintained. Determines that all escrow accounts are current and all escrow is paid in a timely manner.
    File maintains index changes on adjustable-rate loans. Verifies that rate changes are accurate and notices are mailed in a timely manner.

    Responsible for organizing closed real estate files and tracking final titles to ensure they are received in a timely manner.

    Cross sells appropriate credit union products and services.
    Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


    Performance Measurements:
    Contribute to meeting or exceeding the department's goals which are created in conjunction with corporate goals.
    Carry out assigned responsibilities with a minimum number of errors according to established department standards.
    Work with Mortgage Services team to ensure compliance with federal regulations and Credit Union policy.
    Provide prompt, informed, professional and accurate service and support to all members and employees.


    Knowledge and Skills:

    Experience:
    Three years to five years of similar or related experience

    Education:
    A high school education or GED

    Interpersonal Skills:

    Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.

    Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.


    Other Skills:
    Must have basic computation skills to perform escrow analysis and audits.
    Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite.
    Must have good communication skills in order to cross sell products and services effectively.
    Must possess excellent problem-solving skills.
    Must have the ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
    Must be capable of learning new systems and policies as implemented.


    Physical Requirements:
    Light lifting required

    Work Environment:
    Prompt regular attendance at the assigned workspace is required.
