Description
Job DescriptionPurpose:
To assist in all areas of financial reporting and other accounting functions as assigned by the Sr Director of Finance.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•Detail job costs analysis for current projects.
•Prepare and verify the entering of journal entries into the general ledger.
•Credit card reconciliation; collect receipts, review, code and post journal entries.
•Perform all tasks associated with the general ledger, i.e. enter monthly journal entries, execute monthly closing entries, execute month end general ledger.
•Coordinate monthly closing and production of financial statements to guarantee timely reporting.
•Reconciles escrow accounts to monthly statements.
•Prepare closing summaries for title companies.
•Assist with annual external audits.
•Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by supervisor.
Technical competencies:
Education: Bachelor's degree or its equivalent with.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the field or related area.
