As the Regional Asset Protection Manager, you will be responsible for reducing and preventing losses due to theft, fraud, and operational risks, by building a foundation of collaboration and trust. This essential position requires protecting our assets, employees, and customers by implementing strategic measures, educating the team, and applying your investigative expertise.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Regional Asset Protection Manager (RAPM) plays a pivotal role in minimizing losses due to theft, fraud, and operational risks within our retail environments. This role requires a strategic, innovative thinker with a solid background in retail asset protection and an entrepreneurial spirit. Reporting to the Director of Field Asset Protection, the RAPM will lead and inspire their partners towards achieving operational excellence and driving the vision and goals of the asset protection department. The ideal candidate excels in both strategic oversight and hands-on investigations, with a focus on safeguarding company assets, including employees and customers, against various risks.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Partnership and Leadership: Actively partner with Regional Sales Directors and coordinate with the Regional Leadership Team to enhance operational profitability, safety, and asset protection strategies.
    • Investigative Excellence: Lead comprehensive investigations into theft and fraud, utilizing interviews and evidence collection to address internal and external security breaches.
    • Data-Driven Asset Protection: Employ data analytics for enhanced execution of asset protection measures across stores, focusing on performance improvements and strategic planning.
    • Operational Support and Financial Management: Oversee operational processes and budget management to minimize loss and implement cost-effective asset protection strategies.
    • Safety, Compliance, and Crisis Management: Implement safety programs and manage crises effectively, ensuring compliance and swift response to emergencies.
    • Communication, Training, and Development: Foster open communication, provide targeted coaching, and deliver training to enhance asset protection awareness and skills among team members.
    • Innovation and Risk Management: Drive innovation and take calculated risks to develop and implement solutions that meet evolving retail challenges and exceed customer expectations.
    • Specialized Assignments and Continuous Improvement: Undertake specialized assignments to grow and evolve the department, leveraging continuous improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

    COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

    We are looking for the following:

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within retail asset protection, fraud analysis, or loss prevention, overseeing multiple locations.
    • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Business Administration, or a closely related field, preferred.
    • Advanced certifications related to asset protection or fraud examination are preferred.
    • In-depth understanding of retail operations and the unique challenges and risks associated with the sector.
    • Proficient in conducting complex investigations and compliance with legal standards related to retail theft and fraud.
    • Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and develop actionable loss prevention strategies.
    • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and guiding effective teams.
    • Excellent communication skills, capable of fostering strong relationships across all organizational levels and with external partners.

    TRAVEL & AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS

    • Up to 50% domestic travel within the assigned geographical area to engage with retail teams, oversee operations, and lead initiatives.
    • Flexibility to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, covering a 24/7 operation.
