    Description

    Finance Specialist Job Description

    • Produce precise and prompt financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Guarantee adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory guidelines.
    • Support in quarterly and annual reporting to Limited Partners, covering partners' capital statements, limited partner capital allocations, waterfalls, waived fee tracking, workbooks, and annual audit.
    • Create capital call and distribution calculations and notices, as well as review capital activity.
    • Maintain a database on fund and portfolio company activity, including cash flows, transaction multiples, co-investment, and more.
    • Prepare borrowing notices, compliance reporting, and other necessary documents to back the funds' various credit facilities.
    • Aid in preparing and submitting tax returns while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
    • Collaborate with external tax consultants to guarantee precise and timely tax reporting.
    • Comprehend the structure and tax concerns related to funds, blockers, and investments in general.
