2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) Mill machinist opening for aerospace company in Placentia, CA. Looking for candidates with setup experience but open to entry level if trade school has been completed for machining. OT available
1. Operates machine tools in a production environment to produce parts in accordance with specifications and blue prints.
2. Maintains, lubricates, and degreases production machines and equipment.
3. Loads parts for machining and performs periodic quality checks for conformance to specifications and planning documents.
4. Loads program tapes or cards and makes specific control settings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
a. Works under limited supervision.
b. Selects, sets-up, and adjusts tooling according to specifications and planner.
c. Uses precision instruments to check and inspect own parts for quality.
d. Examples of machine tools operated: CNC Vertical Mills, CNC Drill/Tap, Mazak or Mori Seiki machines preferred
e. May modify tooling and fixtures to turn out best quality parts.
f. May be required to edit or write programs as required.
g. Requires 3 - 6 years of on-the-job machine shop experience.
