    Your Role at BHSN:

    • Provide non-clinical support services to individuals as part of their treatment or recovery plan
    • Assist individuals in developing recovery plans, coping habits, and life skills

    A Day in the Life:

    • Provide crisis support post-hospitalization or incarceration
    • Offer education on recovery services to clients
    • Engage with clients, communicate effectively, and transfer insights
    • Help develop social skills in the community to improve quality of life
    • Support individuals in courtrooms or doctors' appointments
    • Additional assigned duties

    Your Skills and Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma/G.E.D. required; Degree in Human Services field preferred
    • NYS OASAS Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) with CCAR Certificate or in progress
    • Understanding and respect for individual recovery pathways
    • Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment systems and support services
    • Valid driver's license
