    Mosquito Control Technician at Mosquito Authority of Northern Colorado

    Mosquito Authority of Northern Colorado is currently hiring full-time and part-time seasonal Mosquito Control Technicians. If you love being outdoors and interacting with people, we have the perfect opportunity for you. Our company takes pride in offering top-notch customer service through our friendly and knowledgeable staff.


    As a Mosquito Control Technician, your responsibilities will include conducting property inspections, assessing the extent of pest issues, and applying pesticides. You will also need to have strong communication skills to educate customers on pest control programs and methods.


    Requirements:

    • Must be a legal resident of the United States and available to work weekends.
    • Minimum 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Proficient in English, with excellent verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to comprehend pesticide labels and follow detailed instructions.
    • Pass a criminal background check.
    • Hold a valid driver's license with a clean record.
    • Physically fit to lift up to 60 pounds and perform related tasks.
    • Knowledge of pesticide application laws and safety measures.
    • Completion of the certified applicator exam by the State of Colorado.

    Duties:

    • Manage daily work assignments efficiently.
    • Inspect properties for pest problems and apply pesticides following regulations.
    • Keep accurate records of pesticide applications.
    • Deliver excellent customer service and address inquiries promptly.

    Wages, Benefits, and Hours:

    Starting pay at $19 per hour with room for growth based on performance. Seasonal roles from April 15, 2024, to October 1, 2024.
