    Hiring CDL Class A Drivers For Delivery Routes dispatching out of Weatherford, TX

    Drivers Average $75,000.00 per year + $ Sign-On Bonus

    The C. D. Hartnett Company in Weatherford, TX since 1880 functions as a major distribution link bringing food and related products to convenience stores throughout Texas. We carry over 8,000 items, including dry groceries, snacks, frozen foods, candy, tobacco, cigarettes, paper goods and more. Our distribution centers receive bulk shipments from major manufacturers and redistribute these goods, via our own truck fleet using company drivers.

    Drivers will dispatch out of our Weatherford, TX Distribution Center. Variable production pay plan and performance bonuses. Weekly safety bonus. Benefits include health insurance, life insurance, profit-sharing plan, sick, vacation and holiday pay, safety awards.

    Must have a valid Texas Class A CDL and 1-year verifiable tractor trailer experience. Must pass DOT physical and drug screen.

    • As a Class A CDL route driver, you are the face of our company to our customers.
    • Operates truck in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations and company policies.
    • Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations.
    • Unload and place all products in customer-designated storage areas.
    • Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
    • Ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
    • Inspect tractor trailer equipment for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
    • Inspects trailer to ensure product is secure for undamaged transport of product.
    • Provides customer service including on-time delivery, product return, and issuing valid customer credits.

    Requirements:Valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver's License Ability to pass DOT Physical Able to safely drive a tractor-trailer, use a 2-wheeled dolly, ramp and onboard PeopleNet devices. Ability to drive at night Driving: 1 year (Preferred)

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $73, $80,000.00 per year
