    Position Summary:
    Under the direction of the CNO,

    Nursing Director:

    Inpatient Services, and charge nurses, this position encompasses the provision and management of patient care through implementation of the nursing process, delegation to and supervision of licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordination of interdisciplinary care.


    Minimum Qualifications:
    License & Certifications
    Current unencumbered Arizona (or Compact) Registered Nursing License
    Current BLS certification
    Current ACLS certification

    Experience:
    Required one year experience
    Preferred two years critical care experience within the last five years
    Knowledge and Skills
    Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and written
    Above average computer skills
    Demonstrates ability to navigate the electronic healthcare record
    Familiar with Microsoft word and excel
    Able to work and multitask in fast paced environment
    Familiar with RN, LPN, & CNA scope of practice

    Able to manage, prioritize, and delegate patient care appropriately and effectively
    Verbalizes understanding of the Nursing Process to direct patient care effectively
    Demonstrates knowledge of common disease processes, treatment modalities, and interventions

    Maintains clinical competencies through attendance/completion of mandatory education and demonstrates these in practice.

    Provides holistic care through proactive and timely implementation of ordered medical, as well as nursing, interventions to provide and promote patient wellness.

    Provides understandable education to patients, families, and/or significant others, and verifies understanding or abilities through restatement or return demonstration.
    Effective stewardship; ensure complete and accurate timekeeping, as well as appropriate and effective utilization of supplies and equipment.
    Participates in hospital and departmental Quality Assessment Process Improvement activities
    Implements improvement strategies based on QAPI results
    Identifies service improvement opportunities.
    Actively models, promotes, and implements management's visions and philosophies through collaboration with coworkers and management team.
