Orion Solutions Group is working with a global leader I supply chain solutions in search of an Operations Manager.

As Operations Manager you will lead the charge in optimizing logistics and supply chain functions across the Americas for both ocean and air services.

You'll spearhead strategies, streamline processes, and ensure compliance while mentoring a talented team to peak performance.

Responsibilities:
Lead impactful initiatives in a pivotal role driving operational excellence.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with regulations and policies governing procurement and logistics.
Identify and implement process improvements that benefit the organization, employees, and clients alike.
Provide leadership, training opportunities, and mentorship to a diverse team across locations.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align operations with business objectives.
Manage budgets and oversee the ocean and air import/export teams.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or related field.

7+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management operations leadership, specifically within ocean and air import and export.

Working knowledge of industry regulations, laws, policies and best practices.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software.
Strategic thinker that can develop and implement new initiatives.
Ability to work and manage in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
