Heart Center is a hospital-owned practice seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Cardiologist to join our established group in our Athens, AL satellite location.
We are the dominant cardiology group in North Alabama, owning more than 90% of the market with an excellent payor mix.
Physicians are employed by HH Heart Center, LLC which is a wholly-owned entity of Huntsville Hospital, one of the largest non-profit health care systems in the nation, serving all of North Alabama and Southern Tennessee.
This provides the group access to a large base of patients supported by a referral base of 170+ primary care physicians.
The position carries excellent compensation and benefits (health/dental/malpractice/disability insurance), 401k and 457(b) as well as full-time CRNP servicesAthens is approximately 35 minutes from Huntsville International Airport.
Founded over 55 years ago, Athens-Limestone Hospital is a progressive, fully accredited 101 bed facility, offering a full range of diagnostic and patient services.
Recently added services include a 30,000 square foot Wellness Center that houses Wellness Membership, Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine.Athens-Limestone Hospital is a 100+ bed facility with a ten-bed ICU and is equipped with 2 CT scanners and a Signa Artist MRI machine in the newly expanded Radiology Department.
