    We are hiring a Drafter at Sterling in Hunt Valley, MD

    Job Duties:

    • Work on civil and energy transmission drafting and design projects.
    • Create base maps, site plans, and existing conditions for infrastructure and utilities.
    • Develop overall project sheet layout and criteria.
    • Demonstrate advanced AutoCAD and MicroStation skills for project setup and file relationships.
    • Administer User and Geographic Coordinate Systems.
    • Adhere to technical specifications to produce drawings and support design drafting.

    Qualifications:

    • AS or Certificate in AutoCAD Drafting and Design or a related field.
    • Analyze sketches, notes, and input material to determine the best approach for completing drawings.
    • Intermediate or Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
