Must maintain a clean driving record.
Complete daily equipment safety checklists accurately and on time.
Safely and accurately deliver material to Dunn-Edwards stores, other locations as assigned.
Load trucks and secure for transportation.
Maintain proper shipping documentation per load.
Responsible for offloading LTL to individual stores.
Responsible for verifying pallet and material counts at destination.
Pick up returns and handle store to store transfers, ensure paperwork is accurate and completed for returns.
Responsible for maintenance, housekeeping, and appearance of trucks.
Effectively manages time to complete deliveries in an accurate and timely manner.
Follow routes and routing instructions provided by the Manager and Lead Driver.
Use effective Customer Service and communication skills to resolve issues with store leaders and personnel during deliveries.
Communicate effectively with Manager, Supervisors, Lead Driver, Transportation Clerks and Warehouse Employees and Leaders, Store Employees and Leaders.
Perform other duties as assigned with in the Distribution Center.
