Summary
We are looking for a driven and highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team.
The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in revenue modeling, management reporting, budgeting, and various analytical efforts within the group while developing and managing relationships with key leaders / stakeholders within various business units.
ResponsibilitiesEnhance and maintain a detailed trails and transactional revenue model that will be responsible for quarterly forecasting and the annual budgeting process
Review advisory data monthly to forecast advisory and administrative fee revenue for quarterly forecasting and the annual budgeting process
Identify and implement new processes for the revenue model to enhance accuracy
Build a revenue presentation that provides appropriate information to help senior management understand the business' outlook and to assist on strategic business decisions
Monitors the performance of various revenue streams and prepares key variance reporting for senior management
Supports internal finance team with month end close, financial reporting, planning & budgeting, and other misc. tasks
Proactively research, analyze and resolve financial inquiries from business leaders on an ad-hoc basis
Ability to work independently or collaboratively to solve complex problems
Develops and maintains excellent relationships with colleagues across business units / departments to foster an effective cross functional working environment and collaborative spirit
All other duties as assigned
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or related field required
Basic Requirements
Intermediate to advanced financial modeling and analysis skills required
Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of financial statements, corporate finance and accounting principles required
Highly motivated with demonstrated experience managing multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline-oriented work environment
Self-starter who will anticipate challenges and work proactively to resolve issues
Attention to detail and effective organizational skills
Solid financial and business management foundation
Comfortable working within an entrepreneurial, "roll-up your sleeves" environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Team player with a customer service mentality
Preferred Requirements
Prior financial services industry experience preferred (wealth management, investment management, broker-dealer, insurance, banking, specialty finance)
Experience with financial tools (Adaptive Planning and Workday Financials) a plus
