POSITION SUMMARY Implements treatment plans developed and supervised by a Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Treatment involves activities to restore function, activities of daily living, home management, range of motion, strength, endurance, coordination, work tolerance and modalities.

Performs in accordance with standards of Occupational Therapy practice that are ethical and legal in North Carolina.


EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required:
Associate Degree from an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited program for Occupational Therapy Assistants. Current North Carolina license or license eligible. BCLS Certification; recertification required annually. May require valid NC Driver#s license and access to use of an automobile.
