    Summary of Responsibilities

    Bring your positive energy to ATC We're looking for a Transmission Planning Engineer to be part of our collaborative team that assesses the present and future needs of the electrical grid. As part of our team, you'll use electrical system models to analyze grid performance, develop network solutions, and determine the best value plan to interconnect distribution loads and generations.

    Essential Responsibilities

    ATC employees enjoy flexible schedules and ATC is recognized as an industry leader in adopting new technologies and types of reliability analysis to assure the reliable transition to sustainable resources. You'll use your bachelor's or advanced degree in electrical engineering (or related degree) and/or experience in transmission system planning to help new resources and loads connect to the system by coordinating with interconnection customers, validating modeling data, forecasting transmission system issues, and collaborating on solutions to optimize transmission system reliability and efficiency.
