We are seeking a Hygienist to fill Casual hours (One day or so every two weeks), working with our Dental team to assist in making our patients' experience a safe and enjoyable one.

In this role, you will be able to be a part of the leading provider of rural healthcare in Minnesota. This is a unique Dental opportunity, allowing you to work in a cozy Dental Clinic setting within a large, integrated hospital facility. JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of a licensed dentist, promotes dental health by performing dental prophylaxis or periodontal therapy, providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies, conduct oral assessments, conduct patient education and explain how to practice good oral hygiene, provide other duties related to preservation of dental health and prevention of dental disease, and occasional supervision of dental hygiene students.

WAGES & HOURS:

• CentraCare offers a competitive wage, with most Hygienists starting at $30+ or more depending on experience.
• Great Hours One day (or so) every two weeks with the opportunity for more hours. (No nights, No weekends)
• Our Clinic is open from Monday - Thursday 8am - 4:30pm, and on Friday's8am-1pm

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of accredited Dental Hygiene school is required.
• Associate degree is required.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1 years' experience as a hygienist.
• 2 years' experience in a dental related field.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Licensed by the State of Minnesota. Required
• Current CPR Certification. Required

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess and demonstrate basic level clinical skills and patient care techniques.
