    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Lead Driver & Trainer oversees key aspects of driver training, development and growth in the Bellair Airporter Shuttle office in Yakima, WA. Duties required to preform are as following, but not limited to:

    • Driver training and coaching
    • Daily evaluation of trainee driver progress and growth
    • Ongoing development of high performing drivers through relationship building, coaching and positive reinforcement
    • Driver supervision, corrective action as needed, documentation, record keeping, and general department maintenance
    • Strategic planning company leadership as requested

    REQUIRED FUNCTIONS:

    • Possession of a proven track record as an effective leader and supervisor

    • Demonstrated proficiency as a Supervisor with an internal drive to continue growing and developing personal leadership skills

    • Implement and evaluate on-going driver training
    • Posses strong typing skills and computer literacy; ability to sit for long periods of time
    • Maintain current CDL licensing standards & comply with company testing requirements, be a role model for staff this position supervises
    • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test & criminal background check if an offer of employment is extended

    HOURS:

    • Minimum 40 hours per week

    SALARY:

    • $24.00 up to $27.00 per hour depending on experience
    • 40 hours per week ( various days must include 1 weekend day)
    • Vacation
    • Paid holidays (Easter, Thanksgiving & Christmas)

    BENEFITS:

    • After 90 days of employment, this position is eligible for the following benefits:

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 1-2 years related experience, preferred.

    EDUCATION:

    • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

    CERTIFICATES & LICENSES:

    • Commercial Drivers License (CDL A or B) - Required
    • Passenger Endorsement (P-1) – Required

    COMPUTER QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Requires a working knowledge of computers & technology as well as possess adequate typing skills
