    POSITION DESCRIPTION:


    Dynamic fast paced position working for a well-renowned community bank utilizing the latest technology and opportunities for future growth in the technology field.


    The Application and Business Systems Analyst optimizes utilization of bank applications in conjunction with the bank's staff and IS Department.

    Reports issues to the IS Manager when appropriate, and supports system maintenance, upgrades, and installations. Coordinates new application implementations, testing, training and system

    upgrades/installations

    with internal product owners and vendors. Functions as the application administrator for select enterprise applications. Acts as overall liaison for IS department with staff throughout the Bank.


    GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:


    Works with business lines to identify areas for process improvement or enhancement and provides recommendations utilizing existing software or technology.


    Responsible for the administration, maintenance and support of applications and general use software including Jack Henry banking systems, select Microsoft 365 applications, and other business applications.

    Ensures system security is a priority across all systems while maintaining established controls for user creation and modification.


    Functions as the primary application resource for enterprise-wide applications including Synergy, e-sign and all associated branch equipment, peripherals, Investment Portfolio Accounting, and loan onboarding interface systems.

    Responsible for the creation and maintenance of Synergy cabinets, document types, indices, document mapping, retention, ingestion methodologies and queues. Ensures daily reports are run and available through Synergy system. Reports to impacted parties and resolves issues associated with the creation of daily reports.

    Responsible for resolving daily operational issues. Creates and maintains user access roles. Works with the business analysts to create new e-sign documents and templates. Provides end user training for scanning, eSign usage and eSign related peripherals.

    Assists with design, maintenance, and configuration of Jira enterprise software. Suggests improvements and participate in new feature testing and enhancements.

    Optimizes use of current systems and documents business requirements for new processes. Maintains and updates detailed documentation based on troubleshooting results and updates.


    Ability to gather detailed business requirements and work with department-based application administrators in best practices for selection, testing and implementation.


    Serves as project member or project manager for IS related projects and coordinates tasks with members of the IS department, other departments of the Bank and applicable vendors.

    Communicates with all team members to resolve issues and drive project results forward. Proven ability to manage and execute complex project plans.

    Reviews and updates current processes and procedures as they relate to existing and/or new systems, products, and services. Ensures successful interface between various computer systems in use at the Bank. Writes and maintains new procedures for functions as required.


    Responsible for administering user access via various applications and hardware in use throughout the Bank including correspondent Bank access, wire transfer systems, and accounting systems.

    Maintains a comprehensive list of enterprise supported applications, including tracking current application pertinent information and life cycles. Responsible for communicating with department-based application administrators and updating application data on a quarterly basis.

    Responsible for adhering to the Bank's project management and change management processes. Develops test plans, perform tests and coordinates system upgrades and modifications to existing systems. Performs testing with others in a UAT environment to ensure successful product rollout.

    Creates or revises forms, documents, and procedures as they relate to new and/or existing systems, products, and services. Monitors processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws, audit requirements and banking regulations.


    Trains all new employees and other Bank personnel as needed in the proper day-to-day use and Bank-related equipment function of PCs as needed including I/S security.


    Coordinates repairs or other corrective actions for malfunctioning Bank hardware or software, including performing diagnostics, simple repairs, contacting and monitoring service vendors.

    Does comprehensive research in search of solutions to complex problems.

    Experience in introducing users of all levels to technology usage and security. Proven ability to work independently or as a team member. Should be self-starter, well-organized and adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasks.

    Completes all required bank compliance training materials as assigned in a timely manner.

    Performs other related duties as directed by IS department management as required.

    BASIC KNOWLEDGE &

    TRAINING REQUIRED FOR MAXIMUM PROFICIENCY :
    Work requires knowledge of a specialized field, as well as general banking knowledge. Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 programs and excellent client service skills. A practical understanding of the concepts of application configuration and support.


    EXPERIENCE:
    Five to eight years of similar or related experience. Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Windows Server Administration, Email/Internet services, and Microsoft365. Experience with release management in UAT and production environments.

    Ability to operate various business machines, computers and software applications Ability to multitask on a regular basis during the business day.

    High level of organizational skills required. Experience in the Banking and/or IT client service field a plus. Working knowledge of enterprise class storage and retrieval systems.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS/


    CONDITIONS REQUIREMENTS:
    Travel required to various Bank sites including branch locations, offsite continuity facilities and/or training facilities utilized by the Bank. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.


    EDUCATION:
    BA/BS in MIS, Computer Science or technology related degree .


    Technology Certificate or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school and MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) Windows Server and CompTIA Network + preferred.

    Work experience will be considered for qualified candidates.
