    Position Title:
    Quality Manager

    Position :

    The Quality Manager is responsible of the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to production quality standards.

    Monitors and audits process and product testing against established standards and conducts a continuous analysis of quality defects and deviations.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    Manage supplier to ensure integration of tools and processes
    Perform independent quality audit of product prior or in parallel to customer delivery (ANSI)
    Collect and analyze quality data, identify priorities for improvement work with engineering and operations to ensure improvements are implemented and verified
    Optimize and improve new and current processes
    Standardize SPS tool usage and processes
    Manage QC and QA team both internal and at supplier
    Establish & maintain quality standards (processes, documents and records)
    Develop team structure to support product, process and project quality
    Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering Discipline or Geographic Information Systems
    10 years Quality management experience
    Experience with LiDAR technologies, GPS and HD Maps
    Deep knowledge of map creation, extraction and geospatial
    Proven people leader with demonstrated record in building and leading large teams
    Drive for results - proven track record in implementing new processes and best practices
    Initiates and approves supplier/customer production/process control activities and reviews for implementation and effectiveness. Maintain quality control sampling system, procedures, APQP, PPAP and ANSI
    Development and implementation of quality systems and standards (FMEA's, PFMEA's, PPAP, control Plans, DVP&R's, APQP)
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - preferred knowledge of 8D & six sigma methods
    Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
    Understanding of software development and testing - ASPICE knowledge preferable
    Experience working with a team to problem solve and achieve goals under pressure and tight timelines
    Ability to be flexible and respond to changes while working in a dynamic environment
    Work Environment


    Works in a fast paced office environment with multiple priorities and competing demands; potential set-backs in project completion due to internal or external issues, resourcing and reallocation.

    Regular office hours with some requirements for additional work during busy times.
    May work for long periods reviewing data on computer.
    Assets

    Software background and knowledge a plus.
    Experience working with Automotive OEMs and understanding of their quality expectations
    Python, SQL, data base queries and sculpting capabilities
