    Description

    Our client is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant join their growing team here in South Florida. This is a great opportunity to grow your career with an industry leader. This role is on a Hybrid Schedule.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare quarterly tax provision and related schedules according to ASC 740.
    • Handle various tax returns, reports, and work papers on a quarterly and/or annual basis.
    • Manage U.S. tax filings for foreign corporations and affiliate reports, including withholdings and elections.
    • Review HEICOs federal, multi-state, and foreign income tax returns prepared by an external CPA firm.
    • Review and reconcile Fixed Assets System (FAS) depreciation for book and tax purposes.
    • Address federal, state, and foreign inquiries, notices, and audits.
    • Assist with corporate department or group controllers tasks and special projects.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum four years of progressive tax experience (industry or mix with public).
    • CPA
    • Foreign taxation experience preferred.
    • Familiarity with OneSource tax provision software is a plus.
    • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
    • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team.
    • Flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including interaction with senior management and subsidiary controllers.
