- Hours: 36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts, includes every other weekend)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1840-$1940/week
- Minimum 3 years of acute care RN experience required (Med/Surg RN, acute care RN)
- Current Vermont RN license or multi-state (compact) RN license accepted
- BLS (American Heart Association) required
- ACLS certification required
- Experience with Meditech or other Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems preferred
- Comfortable providing comprehensive care to both adult and occasional pediatric patients
- All required credentials and immunizations must be uploaded five business days prior to start date
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and occasional pediatric patients on a general Med/Surg unit
- Coordinate and implement patient care using the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical nurse leads, and nursing supervisors to meet patient needs (team-oriented care)
- Provide care across medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric settings as needed
- Prioritize holistic patient care, addressing physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR (Meditech preferred) and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Contribute to a supportive, team-focused environment focused on positive patient outcomes
- Gain valuable travel nursing experience as a Med/Surg RN in beautiful Vermont
- Work in a collaborative, supportive clinical environment
