In this role you will:
Define and own the long-term strategy for Quizlet's learner educator creator communities across products platforms Establish clear principles for participation contribution belonging that support diverse learning identities roles Translate community needs into scalable programs policies systems in partnership with Product Engineering Own community contribution reputation frameworks e.g badges privileges recognition programs that incentivize high-quality safe participation Guide evolution study groups creator communities collaborative learning experiences Ensure community initiatives drive meaningful engagement learning outcomes creator sustainability not just growth metrics Collaborate closely Trust Safety ensure community policies moderation workflows enforcement models support healthy participation at scale Partner Legal Privacy teams embed consent transparency compliance all community programs policies Serve senior voice governance norms ethical considerations new features AI-assisted experiences introduced Lead scale high-performing community team strategy programs operations moderation partnerships Establish metrics operating rhythms measure health trust long-term value not just short-term engagement Influence company-level strategy representing voice community executive cross-functional forumsWhat you bring table:
10+ years experience leading scaling teams including managers senior leaders Proven track record helping communities grow maintaining trust quality clear governance Strong cross-functional partnership skills Product Engineering Legal Trust Safety Deep understanding online communities contribution systems social collaborative learning environments Experience designing reputation incentives participation frameworks scale Familiarity moderation models policy development abuse prevention systems Experience AI-influenced or AI-assisted community experiences is plus Community-first trust-driven approach platform program design Comfort operating strategic execution levels Ability navigate ambiguity align diverse stakeholders Strong commitment inclusion ethical technology long-term healthJob description
