    And if that's you we would love to have you join us Job Description The Sourcing Project Manager position is responsible for supporting and/or leading projects related to Productivity, Supply Chain Development, and Enterprise Initiatives, with varying levels of complexity.

    You will report to the Senior Manager, Supplier Capacity Management & Design for Resiliency and Sourcing.

    Activities could include, but are not limited to, supplier transfers, exits, part transfers, localization projects, sourcing reviews, RFQ / RFP, supply risk management, and other types of productivity projects.

    Significant engagement with both suppliers and other groups outside Sourcing may be required.

    A Sourcing Project Manager must work well independently, with teams, and may lead or support complex cross-functional process or supplier performance improvement actions or projects.


    Key responsibilities:

    You will lead project teams in support of complex, and often critical, cross functional sourcing and supply chain strategies and related business initiatives.

    Achieve operational objectives by developing integrated project plans and schedules while creating plans in accordance with business objectives and target completion dates.

    You will be in charge of managing assigned projects to ensure optimum supply chain performance, both domestically and globally, including their associated alignments with company-wide commodity and manufacturing strategies and preferred sourcing models.

    Lead Supply Chain projects in support of the transfer of products between RA manufacturing facilities, ensuring continued supply chain integrity.

    Lead large and/or complex projects in support of Sourcing Reviews, Supplier Localization, Supplier Exit and the transition from supplier to supplier.

    Achieve all project goals and objectives on time and successfully implement solutions to realize project goals.

    Consistently moves problems towards resolution when encountering obstacles, uncertain conditions, or situations were lack of data or conflicting data means that there is no clear choice.

    Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships at all levels of the Rockwell Automation and supplier organizations.

    Identify and mitigate risks and drive continuous improvement throughout the supply chain for all assigned projects and activities Drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction, and work to identify incremental productivity in projects, in order to achieve the maximum benefit for Rockwell Automation.

    You will work closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, and Engineering, in support of technology and/or manufacturing strategies. Independently make decisions and drive execution of correct supply chain solutions in the face of opposition.

    Recommend, and potentially support or lead the development of, Project Management and other supply chain related improvements through the elimination of variation and waste, focusing on continuous process improvement while serving as a coach and mentor to others.
