    Job Description:
    Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Program Quality Manager - Rail and Transit to join our teamWhat You'll

    Be Doing:

    • Potentially engage during the proposal phase, to describe design quality processes and procedures in response to RFP requirements.
    • Establish, implement, and maintain a Quality Assurance System (QAS) commensurate with the Project requirements and complexity of the Project.
    • Provide training of quality personnel to ensure awareness of quality procedures.
    • Provide direction to the quality team where needed.
    • Represent the Quality Team on quality issues at meetings with the Client, third parties and construction staff.
    • Perform Auditing/Surveillance of project functions at scheduled intervals to assess conformance with the Contract requirements, as applicable.
    • Determine whether a Corrective Action is necessary to bring awareness of quality issues to the Project Manager and Project Team.

    What Required Skills You'll Bring:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Quality discipline. 10+ years quality management experience, with experience working on large projects.
    • Experience developing Quality Management Plans and Procedures to Parsons', client and ISO 9001 requirements and standards.

    What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

    • We are looking for a person who is well versed with the heavy construction quality control including tunnel lining and its connections, waterproofing, earth retained structures, complex bridges, various train control systems, and MEP.
    • Knowledge of what to look for in a large Rail and Transit/Tunnel project, experience with quality control plans, quality checklists, non-conformed quality issues and its remediation.
    • Must have practical experience, not just theoretical.
    • Registered Professional Engineer or Architect in New York is highly desired
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Ability to communicate design quality principles clearly.
    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft products, SharePoint and ProjectWise.
    • Ability to direct and manage team members with day to day activities as well as special projects to assure timely completion.

    Salary Range:
