    Description

    Classification: Part Time Union
    Rate of Pay: Progressive scale up to $17.50/hour, based on experience
    Hours: Varied schedule
    Location: Bloomington, MN
    About the Job:

    • Assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner
    • Stock, assemble, and distribute medications to customers
    • Follow infection-control policies and protocols to protect customers and employees
    • Maintain records by recording and filing physician's orders and prescriptions
    • Train as a cashier and maintain accurate registers
    • Work with the team to ensure an awesome department for customers
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Certified Pharmacy Technician
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a pharmacy department
    • Knowledge of maintaining customer confidentiality and removing outdated drugs
    • Excellent customer service skills and willingness to connect with customers
    • Motivation to continue learning and growing your career
    • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school degree or GED

    Physical Requirements:

    • Frequently lift and carry up to 10 lbs. and push/pull up to 20 lbs.
    • Regularly stand, reach, and operate equipment such as a scanner and cash register
    • Occasionally lift over 10 lbs., squat, stoop/bend, and walk
