    Description
    UCSF Fresno and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG) are recruiting for an academic faculty in Maternal Fetal Medicine.

    Responsibilities will include patient care at a faculty practice site, main teaching hospital, teaching and supervising students and residents, and research and quality improvement appropriate to professional training, capabilities, and career goals.

    In addition, our department is working on outreach to rural communities in the Central Valley to provide MFM care to their patients and this position may help provide this care.

    Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications. Administrative/leadership opportunities and outreach to rural communities in the Central Valley.
    Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission.
    Successfully completed an ACGME or AOA accredited Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship program
    Eligible to obtain a California Medical License or already be licensed in the State of California

    Service to UCSF Fresno and CCFMG in areas of patient care, teaching and supervision, and research appropriate to their professional training, capabilities, and career goals.

    This position will include outreach to surrounding counties.

    Academic appointment and malpractice with UCSF School of Medicine
    ~Only tertiary referral and level 1 trauma center in region
    ~ Large volume of high-risk obstetrics cases
    ~ State of the art Emergency Department
    ~84 Bed Level III NICU

Our resident clinic is based in a federally qualified health center where 80% of our patients rely on state funded insurance and 10% are uninsured.
