Job summary
Provides basic direct patient care taking into account specific needs as related to patient's age assumes responsibility for care of patients and functions as a member of the health care team taking direction and guidance from Registered Nurse all care is provided in compliance with and according to department policy/procedure and Standards of Care.
Responsibilities
- Participates in assessment of patient needs and communication with the health care team
- Participates in staff patient and/or family education to a degree consistent with personal knowledge base
- Participates in unit Quality Improvement activities
