    We are currently seeking a Transportation Planner in our office in Baltimore, Maryland. Assignments may include conducting a variety of transportation and land use studies, freight plans, multimodal corridor studies, and active transportation plans as well as public engagement for complex transportation projects.

    Responsibilities:

    Support transportation planning projects throughout the region, conduct public outreach and engagement, support ongoing and new projects using GIS and data analytics, research and report writing

    Position may include working at client site(s).

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in planning or a related discipline
    • AICP certification or ability to obtain AICP certification within one year of date of hire
    • 5 - 10 years of experience in multimodal transportation and land use planning; a graduate degree may be substituted for a portion of this experience
    • Experience and interest in public and stakeholder outreach
    • Superb writing and oral communications skills
