- Collaborate with the Property Manager to grasp all areas of management, including administrative and financial tasks.
- Take charge of overseeing staff and property management in the Manager's absence.
- Regularly inspect common areas, apartment units, and grounds. Address violations and compliance matters with residents.
- Ensure understanding of financial and operational reporting needs.
- Manage rent collection.
- Lead lease renewal processes by interacting with tenants, sending out renewal notices, and handling renewal paperwork.
- Complete any other assigned tasks.
- Availability to work on Saturdays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College degree or relevant coursework in business, hospitality, or property management is a plus.
- Prior experience in property management and leasing is crucial.
- Sales background is advantageous.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills are vital.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Preferably familiar with OneSite and OPS property management and/or accounting software.
- Able to use a computer with internet access, email, telephone, fax, and copier.
- Valid driver's license, own vehicle, good driving record, and insurance are required.
