    OTR Class A Owner Operator at Clean Harbors summary:

    Clean Harbors seeks an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner-Operator to run long-haul routes (Cranston, RI to El Dorado, AR) averaging ~3,000 miles/week with biweekly home time and estimated earnings of $200–$220K/year.

    The driver will operate tractor-trailer units, safely load/unload and secure (including hazardous/tanker) shipments, placard per DOT rules, and maintain logs, inspections, and trip documentation.

    Requires Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements, at least 12 months' Class A experience, and comfort using mobile apps/software.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times

    Operates tractor trailer units

    Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units

    Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads

    Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations

    Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports


    QUALIFICATIONS
    Class A CDL HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements

    Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience

    Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
