    Your day-to-day

    • Ensure that all on-site activities are conducted in accordance with applicable safety standards;
    • Support operations and maintenance activities for balance-of-plant (BOP) assets in accordance with NERC standards and established operating guidelines;
    • Ensure compliance with site environmental regulations pertaining to hazardous waste, oil spill prevention, avian studies, and wildlife conservation;
    • Liaise with suppliers to ensure that any identified warranty deficiencies are rectified appropriately;
    • Represent the company as needed with grid and off-taker entities and in landowner and community relations;
    • Work closely with vendors and other third parties as needed;
    • Conduct and report on periodic meetings with contractors and partners;
    • Perform QA/QC inspections on turbines, and report any deficiencies to the Site Managers;
    • Assist with monitoring, tracking, and reporting of turbine, civil and other issues;
    • Assist OEM crews with turbine work as needed;
    • Maximize performance and ensure value retention for the facility;
    • Support facility's operations and ensure that maintenance-related activities are aligned with prudent industry practices and the performance requirements outlined in related contracts;
    • Assist with weekly and monthly reports in accordance with operational, safety, regulatory and environmental performance requirements;
    • Provide oversight of vendors and other third parties as needed;
    • Assist with base bolt tensioning;
    • Perform lightning inspections at area projects as needed;
    • Take padmount transformer oil samples;
    • Provide quality and safety oversight on Major Component Exchanges and other field work;
    • Perform maintenance audits on 10% of scheduled services;
    • Perform spot work on vegetation management as needed.

    Your skills, our requirements

    • Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent experience/training in power generation;
    • NFPA 70e training preferred;
    • OSHA 10/30 hour safety training preferred/not mandatory;
    • Strong problem-solving skills;
    • Ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision;
    • Ability to multi-task in a complex and dynamic environment;
    • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills;
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
    • Be in good physical condition, able to carry out physical tasks and work outdoors;

    in adverse weather conditions and climb up to 100 meters;

    • MS Office Suite;
    • Wind turbine technician designation or equivalent trade experience; with the wiliness to upgrade;
    • Working with multiple stakeholders;
    • Operations/maintenance of High Voltage systems.

    Additional considerations

    • The position is based at the company's Boswell Springs site in Wyoming.
    • This position is a O3 level with a base salary of $60,000 – $100,000, exclusive of fringe benefits and/or potential bonuses.
