    Job Description

    The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The LPN demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles and practices within their scope of expertise/knowledge.

    • Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of residents through proper assessment and administration of medications/treatments as ordered.
    • Counsels residents on prevention and treatment plans under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    1. A graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse with an associate degree preferred;
    2. Possess current unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board or multi-state licensure privileges;
        - Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements;
