    Looking for experienced carpenters with solid carpentry skills. Qualified carpentry candidates must have attention to detail, positive attitude, and be able to follow directions.

    We do all phases of commercial and some residential construction, start to finish, and are busy with year round work.

    **Must have own hand tools, valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

    **3+ years of experience preferred, at least 2 years required

    **Qualified candidates must have at least 2 verifiable work-related references in the carpentry/construction field.

    Qualifications and Skills

    2+ years experience in carpentry/commercial construction: General carpentry, Finish carpentry. Preferred experience in several areas including framing, siding, blocking, temporary walls, new construction, window/door installation, general carpentry, finish carpentry. However, will also consider candidates that are more specialized in framing, or finish carpentry.


    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
    • Proficient in using various carpentry tools and equipment
    • Strong knowledge of different carpentry techniques and materials
    • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
    Be honest and reliable- show up as expected, and work hard throughout the day.

    Pay based on experience, quality of work/performance, with opportunity to advance. Pay rate is negotiable after employee demonstrates level of skill and ability.

    We work in southern Maine, as well as the greater Portland and surrounding areas.
