    Description

    Summary of Position:
    A vacancy for the Perkins Project Coordinator exists within the Division of Career, Technical & Customized Education at the Technical College High School – Pennock's Bridge. The Perkins Project Coordinator implements and oversees projects that support Perkins non-traditional participation and completion initiatives. Additionally, the Perkins Project Coordinator supports the mission of the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the st Century Act by promoting the benefit and value of CTE at the Technical College High School.

    Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Education or related field, required
  • Prior experience working with high school students, required
  • Secondary School Guidance, Special Education, Language Arts or Mathematics Certification, preferred
  • Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required.
  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Organize, lead and oversee career exploration events; includes various onsite and offsite events as well as large group, small group and customized career exploration experiences.
  • Coordinate and administer a variety of student assessments supporting the Perkins mission. Interpret results, provide guidance, and disseminate reports.
  • Implement processes that support student career development and readiness.
  • Continuously collaborate with school counselors, post-secondary coordinator, and administrators on dual enrollment initiatives
  • Collect, organize, and disseminate Perkins data through on-going research utilizing various methods.
  • Monday through Friday, hours per day, days per year

    Salary:
    Project Staff, Band , Exempt
    - annually, based upon experience
