Pay Range:
$45-50/hr

Job Description:

The Systems/Test Engineer is responsible for full requirements traceability management, assists with system and component level design according to requirements develops and maintains dynamic models.

Collaborates with test engineering to perform a variety of testing and verification of components and systems throughout the development process.

Job Core Responsibilities

Ensures that the customers requirements for all product/module-level deliverables are clearly defined and documented.
Define and perform verification and validation testing
Maintains, uses and supports the use of standard requirements management tools (Jama preferred).
Supports system integration between the various system development disciplines.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
Job Specifications

Education:
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering required

Years' Experience:

5+ years of relevant experience

Skills:
Systems Engineering knowledge and experience required
Demonstrated experience with requirements management and compliance.
Experience with using software such as Jama or DOORS etc. required.
Demonstrated experience with creating test plans and running verification and validation testing.
Demonstrated experience with electro-mechanical systems. Motion control systems experience desirable.
Multi-discipline capability (Mechanical, Electrical and Software) preferred
Able to solve a range of complex problems from a systematic and analytical approach
Good communication skills, both written and verbal; able to explain difficult or sensitive information to build consensus
