About the Opportunity
HealthCorps is a national nonprofit that empowers teens as community change-agents to eliminate health inequity.
Our 2nd Annual Youth Leadership Summit brings together 150+ high school students from across Southern California for a full day of leadership development, wellness education, and community connection.
We're looking for a passionate videographer intern to join our production team and help capture the energy, impact, and heart of this event.
Your footage will be used for social media, donor and partner presentations, grant reporting, and building excitement for future HealthCorps programming.
- Your Role
As a Videographer Intern, you'll work alongside other members of our video team to document the summit from start to finish.
You'll be responsible for:
- Capturing fullday event coverage from arrival and checkin through the closing ceremony
- Filming keynote sessions, breakout workshops, and partner activations
- Gathering candid footage of student participants, college mentors, and HealthCorps staff
- Conducting or assisting with brief oncamera interviews/testimonial clips
- Collaborating with the video team on multicamera coverage and shot coordination
- Delivering organized raw footage files digitally following the event
Bonus skills we'd love:
- Shortform vertical editing for Instagram Reels and TikTok (30–60 seconds)
- Experience with highlight reel editing (final reel: 3–5 minutes)
- Sameday or nextday turnaround on a quick social cut

- What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a film, media production, communications, or related program (or recent graduate)
- Experience with video camera operation and basic composition
- Comfortable working in dynamic, highenergy environments with youth
- Reliable, collaborative, and communicative — especially when working with a team
- Own or have access to video equipment (please specify what you'll bring)
- Available for the full day on
