JOB SUMMARY

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in accordance to the patient/family care plan to collect patient information and provide direct patient care contributing significantly to the achievement of patient and family outcomes.

As a member of the direct care team, the CNA is responsible and accountable for complete and accurate collection and recording of data, completion of routine and delegated direct patient care activities and communicating and collaborating with the Registered Nurse to prioritize workload.

This position will work within the Marshfield Medical Center, Marshfield, WI on the Surgical/Ortho Unit.

WORK SHIFT
NOC shift- including every other weekend and holiday

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
(For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.)

Preferred Education:
High School diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

Preferred/Optional:
Experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc.

Minimum Required:
Must have or have had a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification awarded by the State of Wisconsin. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association within one month of hire.

Preferred/Optional:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
