    Job Summary:
    This position is responsible for coordination of international shipments. This is a fast paced position requiring knowledge of current international shipping laws and customs requirements.
    Requires excellent attention to detail and organization skills.


    Job Duties:
    Ensure shipment documents and commercial invoices are prepared for shipment.
    Familiar with government website for Harmonizing Tariff Schedule.
    Process weekly consolidated shipment from International locations. This will include working with HTS#s, communications between Broker and International location for additional details.
    Assist Sales department with Material/Sample shipments weekly to different Europe locations.

    This involves managing and reviewing customer invoices and communications with IMA NAs forwarders following up with Pre-alerts to these locations.

    Follow procedures for Loss/Damaged Small part packages or Damaged machine claims with Global insurance company.
    Process quote requests and communications with sales department.
    Manage both Machine and Sample shipment Logs.
    May assist with annual physical inventory for the facility.
    Assists Spare Parts and Finance with invoicing.
    All other duties as assigned.


    Qualifications:
    Intermediate to Advance skills with MS Word & Excel.
    Knowledge of SAP or another ERP/ MRP style system.
    Familiar with international shipment laws and customs requirements.
    Strong attention to detail, time management. Ability to work under pressure.


    Education/ Experience:
    3+ years experience in logistics handling international shipments.
    AS Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.


    Physical Requirements:
    Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
    Able to hear and speak clearly in person and over the phone.
