    The ENRICH Lab (Enhancing ResIlience Cultivating Health), housed within the Emory Child and Adolescent Mood Program (CAMP) in the Department of Psychiatry at Emory School of Medicine, is seeking qualified candidates for a two year clinical research coordinator position. This position will involve 50% time in the ENRICH lab, and 50% time on other-related research projects in our clinic.

    The coordinator's time will be dedicated to working on a foundation-funded grant designed to use community-based participatory mixed methods to understand sociocultural factors that may contribute to the development, maintenance, and culturally-responsive treatment of mood concerns in African-American youth (learn more at .

    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    -Performs a variety of defined coordinator responsibilities related to research protocols, IRB modification, and assigned schedules
    -Coordinates research activities and spearheads and maintains collaborations with community stakeholders.
    -Runs lab visits that involve conducting psychodiagnostic assessments, administering questionnaires via Qualtrics, and co-leading qualitative interviews
    -Oversees participant recruitment flow
    -Oversees activities of undergraduate research assistants
    -Assists with data entry & cleaning
    -Recruits study participants through community outreach, social media, and advertising campaigns
    -Manages study participant scheduling and between visit communications
    -Performs other related responsibilities as required

    Coordinators will also have the opportunity to develop and help pilot individual and group intervention manuals and design dissemination materials. Program development and outreach projects will include opportunities for work with communities and schools, as well as general strengthening of our community-based research infrastructure. Availability for evening (after school appointments) and weekend (community outreach activities) work is necessary.

    Qualities and qualifications valued in research coordinators include but are not limited to: eagerness to learn; proactive work ethic; ability to work well independently and as part of team; time management; exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to think critically; excellent organizational skills; professional communication; and enthusiasm for contributing to scientific research.
    Prior RA experience with youth and/or clinical populations is preferred, but not required. Computational, statistical, and technical skills (. fluency with R, SPSS) are a value-add, as is experience collecting and/or analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and working with Qualtrics, RedCap, and/or other survey distribution tools.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bachelor's degree in a scientific field OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

    ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:
    The preferred start date for the position is Summer 2024. A two-year commitment is requested. This is a hybrid position as our data collection occurs virtually, and community outreach activities occur at various in-person locations. CAMP meetings and ENRICH lab meetings also occur in-person.
