Our Role: Our Marketing Technology team is looking for an experienced Product Owner and leader with expertise prioritizing and coordinating MarTech integrations across business and consumer products. Reporting to the Vice President of MarTech, the Director of Marketing Automation should have a strategic mindset to continue to push the limits of what can be done to drive personalization and automation using Adobe Marketo and other strategic MarTech platforms. The person filling this role will be focused on transforming the marketing execution technologies from a disparate set of tools to a modern digital platform. This individual will be responsible for building and executing the Marketo automation and personalization roadmap, prioritizing enhancements, and leading agile technology teams in the delivery of new features. This role is expected to have a strong understanding of email marketing, lead management, virtual sales, digital marketing and marketing automation best practices, techniques, and tools. The successful candidate will have a blended background including experience with both the technical integration and strategic application of MarTech. They will be a polished leader, capable of managing an agile team to maximize the performance and individual growth of each direct report. They will be passionate about defining a culture which balances a process-driven approach with efficiency and accountability. They will also be a change agent for organization to help various business unit leaders understand the art of the possible when it comes to Marketing Automation for the Prudential enterprise. Responsibilities: Oversee the roadmap (prioritization & execution), configuration, administration, and operation of Adobe Marketo (and other marketing automation technologies) to support client initiatives. Focus on delivering capabilities that enable marketing automation and personalization that aligns to business and marketing strategies.
    • Work with VP MarTech to craft MarTech roadmap and strategy for marketing automation and personalization capabilities
    • Serve as resident Adobe Marketo capability expert for Prudential; summarize integrations and capabilities for executive leadership, cross-functional colleagues and third parties.
    • Manage an agile development team. Own the MarTech Marketo roadmap and request queue; what is in motion, planned for development, and backlogged; delegate ownership of specific queue requests across MarTech team.
    • Oversee monthly backlog review and prioritization with cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Establish workstreams across business marketing and technology organizations; share best practices, create transparency, and collaborate on development across various stacks.
    • Partner with business CMOs to identify and design lead management and personalization opportunities. Deliver recommendations to marketing leadership team on how to deliver omni-channel experiences.
    Your Required Skills This role is expected to have a strong understanding of cross channel marketing, lead management, personalization, and analytics. Strong c-level communication is required. They will be a polished leader, capable of managing a team to maximize the performance and individual growth of each direct report. They will be passionate about defining a culture which balances a process-driven approach with efficiency and accountability.
    • 5+ years of experience working with Adobe Marketo
    • 5+ years' work leading technology development teams in product owner/product manager type capacity
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (5+ years) in digitally enabled businesses. MBA or graduate degree a plus. Experience in financial services preferred.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience in marketing automation and lead management.
    • Possess an innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset.
    • Experience leading projects or initiatives and communicating to executive teams.
    • Understanding of database management and APIs
    • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS
    • Working Knowledge of Digital/Virtual technology tools (On24, Workfront, Marketo, Seismic, Ceros)
    • Direct-to-consumer and Business marketing experience (B2B, DTC, B2C). Familiar with Account Based Marketing (ABM) techniques]
    • Strong organization and communication/facilitation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts for a variety of audiences
    • Proficiency with project management platforms including JIRA, WorkFront

The salary range for this role is from $160,700.00 to $217, Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.
