    General Statement

    Position Statement

    The Corps Ministry Assistant will be responsible for handling Food Bank activities. Act as the point person for all volunteer aspects including recruitment, paperwork, orientation, and scheduling.

    Essential Functions

    • Assist the public at the front office at all times.
    • Rental & Utility Assistance
    • Christmas Intakes
    • Food Pantry Inventory
    • Work with other agencies in the community.
    • Assist with General Office Requirements
    • Record Keeping and Data Entry
    • Social Service/Corps Statistical Reporting
    • Check Phone Answering Machine before initiating any duties.
    • Answer Phone Calls, Return emails and any Phone messages right away.
    • Constant communication with Corps Officers via Lotus Notes, meetings, phone calls and/or text messages
    • Make food boxes.
    • Attend Volunteer Staff Meetings and any Corps related meetings.
    • Attend any Salvation Army or conferences that meets Social Services Requirements
    • Responsible for the Social Service Office when Corps Officers are in the Field.
    • Prepare and Print Corps Programs
    • Send out letters and/or reminders to the community, friends and soldiers.
    • Create Flyers as needed.
    • Process Account Receivables
    • Process Summer Camps Applications
    • Back to School intakes
    • Input women's, CCM reports and troop into the R-drive.
    • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday Donation Pick Up

Servsafe certified or willing to get certified. Equivalent of an AA Degree from accredited College or University. Bilingual/English and Spanish in speaking and writing. (required)
