The Packaging Specialist/Order Selector position reports through the Leavenworth Production Center and may be in various departments. Individuals in this position support various operations on the production/shop floor in the facility. **The Packaging Specialist position in Leavenworth is on 2nd shift (3:30 pm to12:00 am), Monday through Friday.**
The Leavenworth Packaging Specialist/Order Selector position is an entry level position that supports various operations on the production/shop floor of the facility. Incumbent works in a team environment. Examples of roles incumbent may perform include: picking/packing of retail orders from bins/skids, packing of giftwrap, tissue, ribbon/bows into cartons and stacking cartons on skids to send to the warehouse. Flexibility is key as the incumbent could be assigned to a variety of operations as business need dictates.
**Requirements:**

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Ability to grasp, lift and carry product weighing up to 30 lbs frequently and 60 lbs occasionally
Ability to constantly stand and/or walk
Ability to frequently reach, twist, bend, push/pull and perform repetitive hand/wrist motion and fine motor skills Ability to frequently work at or above shoulder level
Ability to occasionally work in awkward/cramped positions
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
Experience operating production equipment
Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks
Good math, written and oral communication skills
Experience/license to operator lift truck
Ability to work in a team environment and positively contribute to improvement efforts
Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge
Must work safely and follow established safety procedures
**ADDITIONAL DETAILS**
Work overtime as required during peak seasons.
This is a climate-controlled manufacturing environment with normal physical injury hazard.
There is some noise and hearing protection is required by Hallmark.
This position is located in Leavenworth, Kansas. Relocation is not provided
