Position Overview :

As the primary individual accountable to Broking for contractual documentation for client accounts assigned, will develop and apply increasingly expanding knowledge of reinsurance concepts and sound writing skills to each contract/program assigned, under supervisory guidance.

Responsible for delivering consistently accurate and timely contract documentation to internal and external parties.

Has direct responsibility for managing own workload and deadlines with such parties to ensure expectations are met on assigned accounts.

Viewed as a partner in the reinsurance placement process in support of the broking team.

Create and edit reinsurance contract documentation which accurately memorializes negotiated reinsurance placement details
Analyze contract provisions to allow the broker team to present favorable terms to the client
Work closely with broker teams throughout the placement process, and assist in finding creative reinsurance solutions, while optimizing the wording for the client
Interact with clients and reinsurance markets to assist in wording negotiations
Document broker/client/market conversations
Proofread reinsurance contracts to avoid document errors

Education, Experience and Skills :
BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university; your degree could be in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Business Administration, or Business Law
Highly proficient in verbal and written communication
Capable of organizing and effectively managing deadlines
Naturally curious
Eager to assist others
Desire to provide a positive client experience

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide marker range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country.

The actual salary advanced to the desired candidate will be based on a number of factors, including geographic location and the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the desired candidate.
