    What is the position? As a Customer Account Specialist, this will be a full-time position performing day-to-day duties. It is responsible for processing customer sales orders, order entry, communicating with internal and external customers regarding order status, and researching and resolving issues accurately and promptly in our Loveland office.

    Compensation: $20- $24 an hour, depending on experience.

    What are the responsibilities and duties?
    • Receive customers' requests by telephone and email, analyze them, provide the requested information or ascertain who can best provide it, and route the request to the proper person.
    • Update orders in the accounting ERP system, follow up with pricing confirmation to customers, and work with customers when shipping delays occur, providing necessary tracking information.
    • Ensure accurate and correct pricing is given to the customer and issue credit memos as necessary.
    • Accurately process customer orders, provide price confirmations, and enter any allocation updates.
    • Communicate with customers and sales group regarding issues or problems with orders.
    • Retrieve bills of lading and attach them to orders for invoicing, and verify accuracy.
    • Provide account backup to Customer Account Experts as needed.
    • Answer and direct phone calls received on the main Meyer phone line.
    • Answer the doorbell and direct visitors accordingly at the Loveland office.
    • Assist with other duties as assigned.
    What Education and Experience are needed?
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Prior protein and industry experience is highly preferred.
    • 2+ years of previous protein industry experience is highly preferred
    • 3 + years prior customer service experience required
    Do you possess these specialized skills?
    • Must be organized, able to multitask, and detail-oriented
    • Must have excellent order entry and computer proficiency.
    • Basic to intermediate Excel skills are needed to be successful in this role.
    • Pleasant telephone voice/manner
    • Must have strong computer skills for high-volume data entry
    • Strong computer skills are necessary, including previous experience with Microsoft Office products
    • Excellent data entry skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally and deescalate issues
    • Ability to adapt to change
