    Description


    Vulcan Materials Company, a leading producer of construction aggregates and construction materials, is offering an exciting career opportunity for a Heavy Equipment Operator - Loader at their Bowers Hill I5 location.

    • What You'll Do:
      • Champion Safety: Prioritize safety throughout operations, following regulations and reporting any unsafe conditions.
      • Operate Mobile Equipment Loaders: Load aggregates, feed plants, and load trucks with specified products.
      • Monitor Materials: Maintain feed of materials, inspect for compliance with specifications.
      • Perform Inspections and Maintenance: Complete equipment reports, report maintenance needs, and participate in plant activities.
    • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other assigned duties as required.

    Qualifications


    • Skills You'll Need:
      • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience operating loaders and dozers in a plant environment.
      • Functional and Safety Knowledge: Understanding of equipment capabilities, material specifications, and safety regulations.
      • Flexibility: Ability to work overtime, in various weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
      • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
      • Interpersonal Skills: Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
